Insurance and Payment

Understanding the cost of mental health care should not add more stress to the process.

Inspired Life Wellness Clinic works to provide clear information about insurance, payment, and what you may expect before beginning care. Coverage and patient responsibility vary by plan, so we encourage patients to confirm their individual benefits before their first appointment.

Insurance Plans We Accept

Inspired Life Wellness Clinic currently participates with:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Sanford Health Plan, except Sanford True plans

  • Medicare

  • Medicare Advantage plans

  • North Dakota Medicaid

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicaid Expansion

  • Some UMR plans

Participation with UMR varies by individual plan. Please contact our office to confirm whether we are in network with your specific UMR plan.

Insurance networks and benefits can change. Before scheduling, we recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm:

  • That both Inspired Life Wellness Clinic and Christine Aman, NP-c are in network

  • That telehealth mental health services are covered

  • Your deductible, copay, or coinsurance responsibility

  • Whether prior authorization or a referral is required

  • Whether your plan places limits on covered visits or services

Insurance coverage is not a guarantee of payment. Patients are responsible for understanding their individual benefits and for charges not covered by their plan.

Self-Pay

Self-pay options are available for patients who do not have insurance, choose not to use insurance, or receive a service that is not covered by their plan.

Self-pay rates depend on the type of service needed and are due in full before the start of the visit. Please contact our office for current rates and payment information.

Payment

We accept the following debit/credit cards:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Most HSA cards

Patient-responsibility amounts may include copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or services not covered by insurance.

We use Stripe card services for invoicing and payments.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Late cancellation and missed appointment policies are included in the office policies patients receive when they are scheduled.

While late cancellation or missed appointment fees are not charged for a patient’s first appointment, fees will be charged on follow up for both missed appointments with no notice and for late cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Questions about insurance, billing, or estimated costs are always welcome.
